SPECIFIC SERVICE TERMS

On-Site Consultation Terms

These terms apply in addition to Equine Notion’s general Terms & Conditions when a Private On-Site Consultation is ordered.

1. Business clients only

The service is available only to persons or organisations entering into the agreement in the course of a business or professional activity. It is not offered as a consumer service. A registered business name and VAT number are required when ordering.

2. Participants

The booked fee covers one or two participants. Every participant must be 18 or older and able to understand English instructions directly. Equine Notion may inspect a valid photo identity document on arrival solely to verify age. A copy is not retained for that purpose.

3. Booked time

The minimum booking is two hours. Time begins at the agreed appointment time. Late arrival does not move the scheduled end time. If Equine Notion and the client are both available to continue, additional time may be purchased only in full one-hour units at €750 per hour.

4. Subjects and materials

The client may raise one or several subjects during the booked time. The fee is based on reserved time, not on the number of questions. Any documents, photographs, video, records, plans or other material are reviewed during the booked consultation time. Preliminary information requested before the appointment is used only to understand the general direction of the consultation and does not include advance analysis.

5. Location and property view

The consultation itself takes place indoors at Equine Notion in the Netherlands. A brief view of selected parts of the property may be possible during the booked time when Equine Notion considers circumstances suitable. A property view is optional, is not guaranteed, and may be omitted because of weather, safety, land conditions or other circumstances without reducing the consultation fee.

6. Horses

Horse contact is not part of the service and is not permitted. Participants may not enter horse enclosures, approach, touch or feed the horses. Participants must follow on-site safety instructions. The horses living at Equine Notion are not provided as client demonstration animals.

7. Cancellation, non-attendance and early departure

The service is sold as reserved professional time. Once payment has been made for an agreed appointment, client cancellation, non-attendance, late arrival or a client decision to end the session before the scheduled end does not create a right to a refund for unused reserved time, subject to mandatory law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. No follow-up included

The booked fee covers the on-site consultation time only. A written report, later email questions, additional analysis or other follow-up work is not included unless separately agreed.

9. Recording and photography

Participants may not make audio recordings, video recordings or photographs during the consultation or on the property unless Equine Notion has given prior permission. A breach may result in immediate termination of the visit and a request to leave the property. Equine Notion reserves any rights it may have in relation to actual loss or unlawful use of recordings or images.

10. Nature of the consultation

The service is advisory and educational. It is not veterinary diagnosis, veterinary treatment, emergency advice, riding instruction or horse training. No particular result, behavioural change, health outcome, commercial outcome or future event is guaranteed. Decisions and actions taken after the consultation remain the client’s responsibility, subject to applicable law.

11. Safety and access

Equine Notion may limit or end access to any part of the property when it considers this necessary for safety, privacy, animal management or property management. Participants must comply with reasonable on-site instructions.
